I’m a twenty-something manager to-be from France specialised in social entrepreneurship and design. It is after HIVE residency at thecamp – where I co-developped a project questioning our outlook on energy (MERGY) – that I realised how crucial the role of incubators was in helping (young) projects develop. Indeed, if our team managed in 6 months to empathise with our users, ideate and prototype a solution thanks to one, we also aborted the project because we didn’t join a community afterwards. At the same time, we regularly participated to thecamp’s ecosystem through workshop design & facilitation to help firms better envision tomorrow’s challenges and reflect on innovative solutions. This is majorly why I decided to switch sides in order to put my facilitation skills and entrepreneurial experience to the service of others. I wanted to help other’s vocations bloom and provide them with tools to thrive. After facilitating and coordinating the Sprints program at makesense, I joined Alphonse as a program facilitator to further discover a startup’s developments / challenges / levers of growth. Working in entrepreneurship had me explore education and diversity matters as well. In 2018 I created Our Millennials Today as a media collecting young graduate’s stories gravitating around their outlook on work, their relationship to orientation and their future. It is only but recently that the project evolved in a newsletter (on Substack) and a podcast (on Anchor) diving more deeply into orientation mechanisms. Working at Alphonse also helps me understand deeper the questions one might ask oneself when transitioning into a new life period, which is what Our Millennials Today is all about.
